18 an hour Copper Valley Telecom is looking for an analytical thinker, with excellent communication skills, to join our team as an Accounting Assistant! CVT Accounting Assistants process accounts payable, prepare and process payroll, and maintain the general ledgers.
Additionally, you would be responsible for maintaining complete and accurate work orders, and reconciling and preparing inventory records and journal entries.
Candidates with past accounting experience, especially telecom accounting, may be eligible for advanced classifications (Accounting Assistant II or III).
To be successful in this position, you must be reliable, accurate with your work, and pay close attention to detail.
This is a full time, hourly, non-exempt position with a starting wage of $23.
18 per hour with a scheduled increase at 6 months of employment, and annually thereafter.
This is an IBEW represented position (need not be a current member to apply) and requires satisfactory results of a background check and drug screen (excluding marijuana).
